Ray Tracing in One Weekend #

I have finished "Ray Tracing in One Weekend" once again, I've already read it two years ago. Back then I used Golang which was probably the best choice at that moment. This time I decided to code it in Rust which I've learned just last year. Overall I think I have much better understanding of algorithms now, I did some linear algebra courses along the way so everything feels much more familiar. Coding tool like that in rust also feels a bit more natural. I will take a look at the next books in the series somewhere in March. The end goal is to have much more "hands-on" understanding of various graphics-related programs (game engines, CAD). My final picture (100 samples per pixel):

Just started reading it and already I'm approaching 70% of the book. It is very fun and insightful, I may even write a review next week!

Manga #

Recently I bought few mangas to explore - Pluto, Eden – It’s an Endless World! and 20th Century Boys. While researching my options I was focusing on "the best/most popular" I can find that are somehow categorized as sci-fi. These three have polish translation and were mentioned many times as "much-reads". I started with Pluto and it was great, a bit short so I already regret not buying more than first volume. I am not going to read anything more before my trip to Serbia at the beginning of the March, I guess I will just order more Pluto volumes and try to finish this one before starting others.
